The aim of the Erasmus Day in Tampere is to further promote the Erasmus exchange program. We hope to get the message across to the Finnish students and the general public. Also the Erasmus Day will mean, for us, a party concluding the spring semester and giving all the international and Finnish students a chance to celebrate the international co-operation within the exchange programs.

The schedule on 25th of April, the Erasmus Day in Tampere, is as follows:

The Erasmus Van starts from the city centerat 10.30, then proceeding to the University of Tampere campus area.

11.30 opening of the Erasmus Day by the rector of the University of Tampere, Krista Varantola

11.30-12.30 a dance performance, a pop band playing, an Erasmus experience photo presentation, cake and toast for the first 100 people!

12.30 a speech given by a former Finnish Erasmus exchange student. This free lecture/speech will be given in English.

13.00 screening of the film L´auberge espagnol!!

At 20h we will get a party started at Tampere University of Technology in Teekkarisauna.

During the all day, the Erasmus Van will participate and will promote and give some knowledge concerning the Erasmus program, visiting the both universities in Tampere.

The day and all the events are free for all the students.

The preceding day, there will also be a unplugged evening organised by our student union, Tamy. Usually, lots of international exchange students have taken part there, and for this reason it will be connected to our Eday the following day.
