Välkommen till Örebro! Welcome to Örebro!

Örebro is Swedens 7th largest city but still quite small if compared to the rest of Europes main cities. However it is a great University town for both Swedish and international students. There are around 150 Exchange students every semester who are taken care of by a weel organised International Office and a great team of ESN:rs with around 70 active buddies. ESN Örebro is the second largest student association at Campus.
Despite a quite late application for having the Erasmus Van the ESN section in cooperation with the International office have now set up some activities to celebrate the XXth anniversary of the Erasmus Programme.

There is a big traditional studentfestival for the celebration of Swedish Walpurgis Night (www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walpurgis_Night) where the students spend the whole day outside having BBQ:s, playing swedish outdoor games as "kubb" and "brännboll". In the night a Festival area is opened with live music and other festivities. Also many families go to watch the big bonfires lit for this holiday.

Plan of celebrations:
* Entrance in the student area as an "Ice cream truck" playing music and handing out Ice creams to Students at Campus
* Afternoon of information, singing "Happy Birthday", giving cake to students BBQ:ing and having a Kubb-tournament.
* Fire show once the darkness comes
