My Erasmus: I did not dream so wonderful change!

I know before going Erasmus, that it was a wonderful experience, but I could not imagine such a wonderful change in my live.

During the Erasmus you know people from different cultures, and it makes you more open minded. But the main thing is that as anybody knows you, and as they haven't any impressions from you, it allows you to be the person that you really are, without any imposition in the way you have to behave, I mean, without any prejudice that comes from your family, your  friends, or your society that is imposed on you, since you are a child. As everybody is very different, it makes that you can be in the way that you really are, without worry about anything. I think that's the main reason why people miss a lot, the time they spent in their Erasmus, because they have to come back to theirs old lives, with theirs old habits.

In my case, I was in Porto, Portugal, and I knew lot of kind people, that i enjoyed very much. Also I knew another way of learning, in other university, with different methods, that is something important for me. But the most wonderful thing that happened to me was to know a Latvian girl that made me fall in love for her. Now I have change my country of residence, I am living in Latvia. The year that i made the Erasmus, was the first year that I lived out of my country, Spain, but now I am interested in know lot of different countries, and also live in them to know more about life!!!

I just want to say one more thing, i would like that everybody that have the chance to go to another country with the Erasmus program, go and enjoy it. It doesn't mind where you go, it REALLY doesn't mind, the people and the circumstances you will find there will be enough. Everybody I've heard talking about Erasmus, was good impressions, I've never heard anyone that didn't liked it, before or after I went.
