My Erasmus: We were all one

It was: 2004

Such a great experience! Greeks, Spanish, French, Italians etc, a big hug! One for all and all for one! So many things in my mind and in my heart! The 500 pictures that i have cannot describe what i lived in Amsterdam. I think of it and i cry...the people, the city, the smells, my bike, my house, my roommate, everything like living in a dream and you don’t want to wake up...Raining every day...so unusual for me...but i didn’t care! I was just moving around Amsterdam on my bike! The fresh air, no traffic, the cosmopolitan atmosphere, having a coffee next to a channel, these museums. The UvA. So helpful people there, always kind, willing to help you. Smiling people. And in the night! The parties, the Atrium, the movies, sharing our moments. I miss my friends, the city also. Life is like a bike, it moves and it doesn’t return. Students, get the chance to live this experience. Once in a lifetime! If i could turn back time, i would change one thing: my return ticket. If only i had stayed more...i would be more open-minded! Leave the moment! Kat
