My Erasmus: I had the best time of my life
Shared by: flavia
Erasmus Trip: Cluj-Napoca MilanoIt was: 2006 Erasmus was the best time of my life and I encourage every student to apply for this mobility. It's a great experience, that opens you eyes and your mind, make you more self confidant, more mature and offers you new prospectives on life. The best of this experince is the multicultural side of it, you get to know, understand and adapt to a new culture, at the beggining it seems a bit difficult, and you can't understand different things, but as you get used to it, you start loving it, every day more and more. Interacting with the people of that country makes you understand better their culture, but this is not everything, because you get to know other "lost in space" erasmus ppl as you, from all around the world, you learn words from different languages, and when you come back to your home, you promise to all of them that you will make everything is possible to meet them again. As Erasmus student in Milano, I can say that the best of this city is it's night life, you can go out from monday to sunday, every night and there are so many nice pubs and disco's that you can't get bored. As a city, it's not the best of Italy...but shopping is great :D I studied at Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, it wasn't very difficult, I already had a very good level of italian before going there, so I didn't have any problems. An adivice for future Erasmus students in Italy... don't commint criminal acts...such as putting ketchup on pasta or cutting spaghetti in small pieces!!!! hihihih...it's againts their religion :D About italians: I meet very nice person, always friendly and gentle ...the funny things is that they sometimes talk VERY VERY LOUD!!!! it seems they are always arguing on something. Now, when I am back home, whenever I am sad or in a bad mood, i look at the pictures I took when I was in Erasmus, they make me always smile and bring me the joy and the good mood back. When I came back home, I realised that I changed a lot during the 6 moths of Erasmus, I became more responsible, more open minded, more communicative and because of the great ppl i meet...there is no more place for stereotypes...there aren't people categories, everybody is different, everybody is special...as many people you discover as richer you become. This are a few things about my GREAT ERASMUS EXPERIENCE....what's next?.............I WAITING FOR ERASMUS YOUNG MOBILITY TO BE AVAILABLE....
